On Sunday 13th April, Bath Motor Club ran the Spring AutoSOLO at Kemble. This was the first AutoSOLO of the year for Bath and was set to be a great day with 54 entries. The weather held out, although at times it tried to rain and then the winds picked up making it very cold. The competition started strong and continued the fast pace throughout the day. This was reflected with the juniors who proved to be very competitive. The highest junior was 16th overall so well done to all. The event was received very well by competitors and finished with Alec Tunbridge taking the overall fastest time followed by Bath Motor Club member Steve Connor who trailed by 19.8 seconds. The event was very successful and the organisers want to thank all the competitors, marshals and officials for making the day so enjoyable, we look forward to seeing you in August for the next event.
